Teen Driver Education
TEEN DRIVING EDUCATION FOR 15 TO 17
Why does my teen need driver’s education?
Individuals under 18 years of age are required to complete a driver education course and present the Texas Driver Education Certificate (DE-964) at the driver license office (DPS) (DMV) to receive a driving permit.
The DPS knowledge test (WRITTEN TEST) will be waived because it will be completed during the Teen Education Course.
Then; when the teen qualifies for the full drivers license, the ROAD TEST Driving Exam is required.
We are certified and licensed to do the road test for all students who successfully completed a Teen or Adult Program (details below).
